Where did you find the Library Singletons challenge?
There isn't any official Library Singletons challenge. I made it up for myself several years ago. I am devoted to reading series in order. I'm currently tracking 458 series in FictFact, so of course I can't keep up-to-date on them all. It is So Frustrating when the library culls a book just before you go to check it out. Even when you have it on hold, they cull it, if it's the only one and it has poor circulation. So for several years now I've tried to look ahead on my series in progress, and keep a list of the library singletons. I have 50 checked out, to "hang on" until I get to that book in the series. Obviously I have to turn them in sometimes, when I run out of renewals. I'm trying to "play circulation game" on the ones that I'm not even close to yet. Today I turned in a #4 on a series I haven't started. Friday I'll return a few more. Then next week check them out again, to boost their circulation statistics and keep them from getting culled. Hope that explains!
